Express Train

I feel so great

I cannot think straight

But now I guess I am late

So my thoughts just have to wait

I really have to hurry

So my mom would not worry

I’ll take the train to get there

But must recall paying the fare

As the doors begin to open

I did not know what would happen

Swarms of people got through

Alongside me and you

The cart was crammed full

I looked like quite a fool

I was pushed to the back

And was nearly attacked

There were so many people around

That I could not even see the ground

It was really hard to breathe

And could only feel the heat

As the ride comes to a halt

I know that it is my fault

Cause the moment it stopped

I stumbled over a knapsack

I thought I have hit the wall

But something soft broke my fall

I could not believe what I’ve seen

For there was someone underneath

We were both in a daze

As I fell into your gaze

You left without a sound

But made my heart pound

I did see a glimpse of you

But did not have any clue

I would have said my apology

And even treated you nicely

As I pulled myself together

I managed to stifle my laughter

I got off and made a racket

Only to find a card in my pocket

I believed it belongs to you

When it fell after our rendezvous

It unveiled a number and place

With a name beside your face

I was really surprised to know

As I watch the hail of snow

To know that my bashful savior

Was indeed my next-door neighbor

But then I remembered everything

The reason why I am running

I hurried with all my might

To reach the room in sight

I arrived just in time

To hear the bells chime

While opening the dark door

To face the ordeal in store
